Meet the Kyckr Team — Aoife Byrne, International Customer Services and Support Manager

Kyckr

As we're heads down building the future of KYC compliance, we wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the people who are hard at work turning the Kyckr vision into a reality.

For the next interview of our Meet the Team Series, please meet Kyckr's International Customer Services and Support Manager, Aoife Byrne.

What do you do at Kyckr?

I currently manage a number of divisions within Kyckr including customer care and internal research. My team and I pride ourselves in being subject matter experts; whether it’s answering customer queries or helping out in-house with all sorts of projects and research.

What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?

Astronomer, meteorologist, archaeologist – it depended on what day you asked me. 😊

What's the most exciting part of your day to day work?

One of the highlights of my day is helping my colleagues to build their knowledge base which empowers them to solve our customer needs and queries.

What do you feel makes Kyckr different from other companies you’ve worked at?

The Kyckr team are very friendly and approachable. As a company, we are very dynamic in adapting to meet customer needs and also keeping up to date with the latest regulations and how we can best assist our customers in fulfilling those regulations.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

After a day at my computer, I love to get out gardening or going for a long walk forest walk.

Who inspires you the most? Why?

David Attenborough and his knowledge, experience and compassion for the natural world are incredible. He has a few good nature shows, too. 😊

What’s your favourite movie of all time?

The Shawshank Redemption.

If you could visit any city in the world, where would it be? Why?

I am more inclined to have a National Parks list over a city list. I would love to visit the Azores, take in the scenery, hike and visit the observatory there.

If you could have lunch with any person, who would it be? Why?

Definitely British Physicist, Brian Cox, so we could discuss the wonders of the universe.
