Meet the Kyckr Team — Agnes Zalewska, International Customer Services and Support

As we're heads down building the future of KYC compliance, we wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the people who are hard at work turning the Kyckr vision into a reality.

For the next interview of our Meet the Team Series, please meet Agnes Zalewska, International Customer Services and Support.

What do you do at Kyckr?

International Customer Services and Support. I am resolving customer issues, providing advice on the correct documents and the content of the documents. I am also researching for new country accesses and available documents and providing multilingual translation advice to the company when required.

What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?

I wanted to be a super intelligent and skilled special force soldier or ninja, taking part in secret missions.

What's the most exciting part of your day to day work?

Each day could be full of surprises. You do not know what to expect and this is thrilling.

What do you feel makes Kyckr different from other companies you’ve worked at? 

This company was created with passion and this passion is shared among employees.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love sport and physical activity balanced with a nice portion of healthy food. I love writing as I used to be a journalist. I love crime books and good old movies. I like watching/reading about haunted/abandoned places and observe how nature is claiming its land back from humans. 

When it is raining and cold, I love to spend time in front of my open chimney and drink hot chocolate.

Who inspires you the most? Why?

Every person I met on my journey has inspired me in some way. But the most significant was my Grandmother, Anna. She was in a labour/concentration camp during World War II. My Grandmother used to say – “hard work will bring results some day”.  She taught me how to fight and how to work hard, to believe that if you really want something you can achieve it. It might not be easy but if you do not try, you will never know what you are capable of. She believed if you expect something from others, first expect more from yourself.

What’s your favourite movie of all time?

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

If you could visit any city in the world, where would it be? Why?

I would like to visit all the haunted castles around the world and spend a night at each of them. Then I could say “Ghost Busters”. :D

If you could have lunch with any person, who would it be? Why?

It would be John D. Rockefeller. I would like to know how to become wealthy. This knowledge is priceless.
