For the next interview of our Meet the Team Series, please meet Maria Flynn, International Customer Services and Support.
What do you do at Kyckr?
I carry out various research tasks and projects with our customers needs in mind and ensure our information is accurate and up to date.
What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?
A barrister, or an archaeologist as I was obsessed with Egypt.
What’s the most exciting part of your day to day work?
I like collaborating with the team and figuring out ways to best help and support each other in our daily roles.
What do you feel makes Kyckr different from other companies you’ve worked at?
The people. We all work hard to see Kyckr succeed and everyone’s opinions and suggestions are welcome and valued.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Dancing, I was part of a great class pre-covid and enjoyed teaching too. Spending quality time with my son and husband exploring our countryside.
Who inspires you the most? Why?
My son and husband, I would one day like to be as amazing as they are!
What’s your favourite movie of all time?
Legends of the Fall.
If you could visit any city in the world, where would it be? Why?
I have visited many great cities worldwide and so next on my list is a piece of paradise, like the Maldives.
If you could have lunch with any person, who would it be? Why?
Gabriel Byrne. I am a huge fan of his work as an actor but would love to sit and talk all things from his life growing up in Ireland to his eventual stardom.
