As we’re heads down building the future of KYC compliance, we wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the people who are hard at work turning the Kyckr vision into a reality.
For the next interview of our Meet the Team Series, please meet Aliza Ladva, Marketing Manager.
What do you do at Kyckr?
I am the Marketing Manager for Kyckr and work alongside the Head of Marketing to plan, implement and execute marketing campaigns, in order to build both the Kyckr brand and develop a healthy sales pipeline.
What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?
An early years teacher. Most of my family work in education and I was always fascinated by all the creative activities my mum would come up with for her class, plus I was that child that always wanted to write on the whiteboard.
What’s the most exciting part of your day-to-day work?
Being creative in ways to engage prospects in Kyckr’s offering and helping to make a positive difference.
What do you feel makes Kyckr different from other companies you’ve worked at?
There are a couple of things – first and foremost the people and my team! Working alongside such hard-working, passionate and smart individuals is an honour. Secondly, everyone has a voice and is listened to. Opinions matter and are shared among the team which makes me feel valued.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy baking, watching football, and being around my family and friends making wonderful memories.
Who inspires you the most? Why?
I would say seeing other people succeed really encourages me and pushes me to work harder to achieve my dreams and make them a reality!
What’s your favourite movie of all time?
It would have to be a Bollywood film – Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
If you could visit any city in the world, where would it be? Why?
It would either be New York or Rome – I can’t pick between the two! One for its history, food, and wine (obviously) and the other because it’s just so magical.
If you could have lunch with any person, who would it be? Why?
I would say Jurgen Klopp, because I am a Liverpool FC supporter. To be honest, I’d be happy with just simply getting a ‘Jurgen Klopp hug’ (post COVID). If you know, you know!
